Plants for the New American Garden . . .

Malva moschata grows up to 36". The hardy perennial shows delicate flowers and lush foliage, blooming all summer.

Miscanthus sinensis 'Gracillimus' is a fine-textured grass up to 6' tall.
Phlox grows to 3' and blooms nearly all summer. It is a native prairie plant.
Rudbeckia hirta is the classic black-eyed Susan. This plant grows all through the summer and is very representative of the bold, energetic plants used in the New American Garden.
Solidago, 4', is one of the most commonly known of North American plants and is found in many settings. It approaches railroad beds, country lanes, and the open prairie in its march into the American prairie.
