The New American Garden . . . | |

North America can be proud that it has its own garden style. The style is fresh but reminescent of the great legacy of the native American habitat. Two of America's great designers, Wolfgang Oehme and James van Sweden, launched The New American Garden in the 1970s. In describing the garden style, van Sweden commented, "Its point of reference is the American meadowa place of freedom and ease where wildlife, plant life, and human life coexist in harmony." |
